As we come to the end of 2010, Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure is focusing on the work we need to do moving forward into the new year. With so many promising projects on the horizon, it is important to share our previous year’s accomplishments as well as our 2011 plans with individuals who share our passion for finding a cure for brain cancer.
This year we have been able to expand our efforts to include online tools such as email, websites and videos (like the one below), which have created a better understanding of the urgent need for more cutting-edge brain cancer research. The year-end tribute video also provided us with a chance to highlight some of our great fighters and honored loved ones, attaching a face to our cause. This will hopefully remind all of our supporters that, while we are raising funds to support translational research, in the end everything we do is for the patients.
It is our holiday wish that someday soon Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure will no longer have a need for year-end appeals such as this. If enough people support this wish we can make it a reality!
