The next ten days will be busy ones for several of the Case Foundation team members as we hit the road for a couple of key conferences.

First up is WeMedia in Miami from March 9-11, which brings together a range of professionals in the media, technology, business and communications fields to name a few, to talk about the future of media in a digital world.  While there, I'll have the privilege to serve as a judge in the PitchIt! Challenge, which will award $50K to help launch two new ventures.

Beginning March 12 through the 16th, several team members will head to Austin for the SXSW Interactive conference. Judging will again be the theme of the event - our team's Erich Broksas will be part of a panel of expert judges for the Microsoft BizSpark Accelerator competition, which searches for the "next big thing" in the technology business. And on March 14, Kari Saratovsky will participate in a panel with other social media for social good experts such as Beth Kanter and Holly Ross, titled "Crowd Sourcing for Innovative Social Change."

And on the morning of March 16th, Jean and Steve Case will be speaking about the intersection of business, technology and philanthropy at the Economist's Corporate Citizenship conference, organized by the Economist's New York Bureau Chief and Philanthrocapitalism co-author Matthew Bishop. Other notable speakers at the event include President Bill Clinton, Dina Habib Powell of Goldman Sachs and Scott Griffith, CEO of Zipcar, amongst others.

We hope to see you at one or more of these many great events!
