Mark your calendars, our inaugural session of CaseSoup, an interactive hub of videos and live discussions centered around some of the big issues and areas of focus that are important to us here at the Case Foundation, is taking place this Thursday, April 1st at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT. Ramya Raghavan of YouTube and Basho Mosko of Flip Video will be joining us and sharing tips and tricks on creating successful nonprofit videos.

About the Experts

Ramya Raghavan is the Nonprofits & Activism Manager at YouTube, where she directs social change programming including the YouTube Nonprofit Program and Video Volunteers, an initiative launched in 2009 to connect nonprofits and activists on the site. She blogs regularly at www.citizentube.com.

Basho Mosko is the Program Manager of the Flip for Good philanthropic program and a longtime filmmaker. Flip for Good is the charitable outreach of Flip Video which help nonprofits and educational organizations use video to make the world a better place. Basho is also a musician, storyteller and educator. He holds a BA in Community Studies from the University of California Santa Cruz, a clear California BCLAD teaching certificate, and a Master in International Affairs from Columbia University.

We also had the pleasure of partnering with YouTube, See3 Communications, Flip Video, and NTEN on the DoGooder Nonprofit Video Awards. Submissions have ended, 16 finalists selected and voting for the top nonprofit videos of the year start tomorrow, so don't forget to vote!
