The United States is taking youth civic engagement to the next level. On July 5th, the White House started the “How to Make Change” series, a panel discussing the importance of youth civic engagement. Earlier this year, the Office of Public Engagement held 384 rountables in 46 states (including DC and Guam). In the video, John Carson, the Director of the Office of Public Engagement discusses that the initiative was developed to move the US forward by creating opportunities for citizens to get involved in the process.
