Payroll Giving in Action launches payroll giving through mobile phones

The fundraising company Payroll Giving in Action has launched what is believed to be the first payroll giving service through mobile phones. The Devon-based organisation already offers a Giving Online service, which allows people to donate to charities through their employers' payroll giving schemes by using a website. It has now optimised the service so that it can be used on smartphones, including iPhones and BlackBerrys.
