Jean Case kicks off “Promoting Innovation: Prizes, Challenges, and Open Grantmaking” by highlighting the Case Foundation's partnership with the White House to encourage citizen involvement in the decisions and policies that affect their lives. The “Promoting Innovation” strategy session was hosted in spring of 2010, and gathered more than 200 innovators from 35 government agencies and 35 private and nonprofit sector expert organizations.
