Boys & Girls Clubs of America
As a leader in youth development and after-school programming, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) has played a vital role in shaping the vision of the Case Foundation since its inception.

In 1999, when Jean and Steve Case brought together colleagues and partner organizations to create a nationwide initiative to deliver digital skills to thousands of underserved children, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America was one of the first organizations to join the effort. BGCA became the host organization for more than 400 PowerUP centers, enabling the initiative to expand from 250 centers to nearly 1,000 in just two years. The Boys & Girls Clubs' positive environment, caring and committed staff, and quality service ensured that the Case Foundation's investment would grow and thrive for years to come.

As the Boys & Girls Clubs of America continues to expand its reach to new neighborhoods and cities, it has helped bring national attention to the needs of Native American children and youth.

As BGCA continues to expand its reach to new neighborhoods and cities, it has helped bring national attention to the needs of Native American children and youth. The Case Foundation's most recent partnership with the organization is designed to meet technology needs. To date, BGCA has established more than 185 clubs in Indian Country, Alaska, and Hawaii. As a result, more than 100,000 children from 77 tribal, Native Hawaiian, and Native Alaskan communities now have a place to call their own.

Among Native American communities and nationally, the Boys & Girls Clubs continue to make a positive difference in the lives of young people.
