Reach Beyond Your Bubble

I’m a big believer that when you’re uncomfortable, that’s when you’re going to learn the most. If you can push the boundaries of what you think you’re made of, you’ll open yourself to the possibilities of new skills learned, new friendships, and even new favorite foods! Sometimes, it’s okay to take away your safety net and head first into the unknown. You never know what you might discover!

Samantha is a member of the marketing and communications team, where she produces multimedia content. On any given day, you can find her writing, producing, and editing, always excited to tell the next inspiring story. She brings in over a decade of experience to the team, drawing from her background of storytelling with a visual eye.

Prior to joining the Case Foundation, the Southern California native worked as a radio and television producer. Her career has covered a diverse range of subjects, from years following Major League Baseball to reporting on foreign policy and national security issues with the White House and Pentagon press corps. Samantha has covered presidential campaigns, many world leader summits, long-form feature stories and breaking news events like the Boston marathon bombing. To date, the coverage event she counts as her favorite was when President Obama and President Castro watched the Tampa Bay Rays play against the Cuban National team in Havana. Samantha graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in broadcast journalism. (Go Terps!)

In her free time, you’ll find her practicing yoga, cooking up new recipes, and exploring wineries, near and far. She lives in Washington, D.C., where she loves hosting dinner parties with her husband.
